Personal Portraits
Sketched along the way, in our
mission to promote reading, writing and art
During Wil's
visits, sketches are made while the children watch on. While
it is
impossible to sketch everyone, every effort is made to
sketch the principal who
sets the tone for a school. Their enthusiasm rubs off on
everyone. The media
specialist is sketched because he/she develops the library
and the programs the
encourage students to read and enjoy reading.
Of course,
students are sketched for that special twinkle in their eye
upon seeing
the completed portrait!
These are
personal portraits drawn by Wil at the schools he has
visited. No other
artist is doing anything like this. Most try to teach
drawing, Wil lets the children
experience it!
